beginning August 9th,
2001!
Class 1 ICE BREAKER
Leadership Skills - Identifying Your Own Potential (Personality
and Management Skills)
This class will be facilitated by Pat Merritt, Senior Economic Development
Representative from Oglethorpe Power Corporation and Scott Purvis, Regional
Representative of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs
Class 2 - QUALITY OF LIFE
Land Use Management, Recreation, and Organizations that strive to improve
the
quality of life in Brantley County
Class 3 - LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND EDUCATION
Future Trends and Developments
Class 4 - COURTS AND PUBLIC SAFETY
The Legal System
Class 5 - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REGIONALISM
Local Development Efforts, State Trends Toward Regionalism
Class 6 - WRAP-UP/GRADUATION
The participation fee for LEADERSHIP BRANTLEY is $50.00 per student.
A small
number of scholarships are available.
The DEADLINE for receipt of applications is July 18th. For more information
